Java Application Developer

The role is in a modern Java software development team which will involve working in agile project management methodologies (Scrum) to further develop web applications. This multi-tiered Java application consists mainly of open-source design and follows clear service-oriented paradigms and guidelines. In this framework, you develop responsible new projects, functions and features that you can as part of a highly-scalable, performance-optimized web application in the next release to do with us live as a visible client success and celebrate.

The Responsibilities

• Design, conception and development of advanced software modules and web applications for MVC and other patterns
• Responsibility for software development projects
• Result-oriented programming within an agile development process in an interdisciplinary team

The Requirements

• A degree of a relevant discipline, ideally, computer science or equivalent
• At least two years practical experience in programming complex web systems with e-commerce focus
• Programming and system experience in the field:
• o Java in a multi-tier architecture
• o Concurrency
• o Web
• o Tomcat
• o Linux
• Experience in agile programming
• Relational databases, SQL, PostgreSQL possible
• Solution-and scenario-oriented thinking and independent functioning
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Very good German and English
