An exciting dating website that is expanding across Europe is looking for a very capable Frontend architect. Embedded in an interdisciplinary and agile working team of about 7 developers in the areas of front-end, back-end and quality management are setting your expertise in the development of our multi-lingual web platform and stimulate technological innovation.

THE Challenge

Further development of our front-end architecture (template structure / presentation logic / connections to the backend)

• Production of XHTML / CSS templates for the dynamic generation of page content based on design templates
• Programming features for our web applications using JavaScript (with the Prototype Framework)
• Creation of new, innovative formats in coordination with product management and our partners

Requirements

• Completed training and several years of professional experience in web development
• Excellent knowledge of CSS, XHTML, DOM Scripting and Ajax development with Prototype or other Framework (References)
• High level of competence in the template development with frameworks such as JSP or FreeMarker
• Secure in the knowledge of Java front-end program
• Professional handling of issues such as cross-browser compatibility, scalability and performance optimization
• Independent, results-oriented work and problem solving skills
• Very good German and English
