For my client's Java development team we are looking for valuable support for a complex solution. Located in Hamburg with one of the friendliest and open environments for any mature and exciting start up in the German market.

Responsibilities:

• Expansion and maintenance of the functionality of the backend databases

• Tuning various Application

• Conversion of applications to support large amounts of data

Your profile:

• At least three years profound experience with Java in the Internet environment

• Very good knowledge of J2EE backend technologies

• Very good knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and Postgres you know well

• Good understanding of the current Internet protocols and standards: http, email, TCP

• Good understanding of current "hip" web sites

• Very good command of spoken and written German, English (bonus)

• It is advantageous to have knowledge of distributed database and a willingness to explore new ways of storing and processing data to learn and implement.
